Llama Kart Privacy Policy
What leaves your device, and what does not.
LLAPS DIJITAL TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI collects nothing from you and operates no servers. Llama Kart has no backend of ours and no analytics. What leaves your device goes to Apple — your Game Center scores and a copy of your saved game — and to Google, whose Mobile Ads SDK serves the advertising this free edition shows between runs. Nothing goes to us. All of it is described in full below.
Introduction
Llama Kart is a game published by LLAPS DIJITAL TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI for Apple platforms. This policy explains what happens to information when you play it, and it is written to be checkable rather than reassuring: the game ships a privacy screen listing the same statements, and the build that produces this page fails if the two ever stop matching.
Information we collect
None. LLAPS DIJITAL TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI receives no personal information from Llama Kart — not your name, not your email address, not an identifier, not a usage statistic, not a crash report. There is no mechanism in the game by which we could, and the sections below say so one statement at a time. That is a statement about us: the advertising SDK described below is a third party with its own relationship to your device, and it is set out under Disclosures rather than hidden inside this paragraph.
What the game does not do
Each statement here is an absence. In the game's source these are paired with the specific symbols whose appearance would make them false, and an automated test fails by sentence when the code stops agreeing with the copy.
No servers of ours
Llama Kart has no backend of ours and no networking code of its own. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no telemetry and no remote configuration. LLAPS DIJITAL TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI operates no service that receives, holds or processes anything from this game. Two components use the network and neither of them is ours: Apple's own Game Center, acting on your behalf, and Google's Mobile Ads SDK, which fetches the advertising this free edition shows. Both are described under Disclosures below.
No account of ours
There is no sign-up, no password and no profile belonging to us. The only identity involved is the Game Center account already on your device, which is a relationship between you and Apple. We never receive an email address, a name or any other identifier, and there is no mechanism in the app by which we could.
Disclosures — what does leave your device
These are statements that something does happen. No absence check can prove a presence, so they are held separately and their accuracy rests on the code paths each one describes.
Game Center receives your scores
Your best runs are submitted to Apple's Game Center leaderboards, together with your achievement progress. The name other players see is your Game Center nickname, which you set with Apple and not with us. This data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; we can read the same public leaderboards any player can, and nothing more. Sign out of Game Center in the Settings app and nothing is submitted at all.
Your save travels with you
A copy of your progress is kept in your own iCloud account through Game Center, so that it follows you between your Apple devices. It contains your progression, your club and your circuit records, plus the name of the device that saved it so the game can tell you where a conflicting save came from. It is held under your Apple Account, readable by you and not by us.
Racing other people sends your driving
Llama Kart can race you against other people through Apple's Game Center. While such a race is running, your driving — what you steer and when you brake, tick by tick — is sent to the other karts in that race so that everyone's screen shows the same road. It travels between the players' devices through Game Center: there is no server of ours in between, and LLAPS DIJITAL TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI receives none of it. The identity attached to it is your Game Center nickname, the same one the leaderboards use, which you set with Apple. Nothing else about you is included, and nothing is kept after the race ends.
The app checks what you have bought
Llama Kart asks Apple's App Store which of its products your Apple Account already owns, using Apple's own StoreKit — the same records the App Store itself keeps. The check runs on your device and goes to Apple and nowhere else. It needs no account of ours and tells us nothing: we receive no receipt, no identifier and no notification that it happened. This build does offer purchases — see below — and the check is made in every edition of the game, including the ones that sell nothing, because the code that makes it ships in all of them.
This build shows ads and sells purchases
This is the free, ad-supported edition of Llama Kart. It shows an ad at a few points between runs, and offers in-app purchases that remove them. The ads are served by Google's Mobile Ads SDK, which is the only third-party code in the app; it is present on iPhone and iPad only. Because that SDK can use your device's advertising identifier to measure and personalise advertising, iOS asks your permission the first time the game requests an ad — the App Tracking Transparency prompt. You may decline. Declining changes nothing about the game: the same ads appear at the same points, on the same cadence, simply less relevant to you — the code that decides when an ad is shown never reads your answer. Nothing about how you play — your race, your progress, your settings — is sent anywhere to show you an ad, by us or by the SDK. No power-up and no gold is ever sold for real money.
The motion sensor
With tilt steering or the tilt throttle enabled, the game reads your device's motion sensor while you race; the settings screen also reads it while a tilt preview strip is on screen, so you can see what a setting does. Each reading is used for the frame it arrives on and is never stored, logged or transmitted. Choose Touch and Pedals and the sensor is never started.
What is stored on your device
Llama Kart keeps your game in your device's own storage. In the player's words, that is:
- Your progress
- Level, gold, karts, drivers, trophies, and how far up the Trophy Road you have climbed.
- Your club
- Towns, venues, staff, contracts, and the ledger behind them.
- Your circuit records
- Your best lap on each of the circuit tracks.
- Your settings
- Every preference in the app, including your control calibration.
- Your match record
- Whether you won or lost your last few Versus races, and the field you chose.
- Diagnostics
- How many times the game has crashed or frozen on this device, and whether a save could not be read. Settings ▸ Data & About ▸ Diagnostics shows you all of it.
That is the whole list. The first three are also kept in your iCloud through Game Center so they follow you between devices; the rest stay on the device they were set on.
Children
Llama Kart is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, including children. Because we collect no personal information at all, we hold none belonging to a child and have nothing to delete on request. Game Center itself is subject to Apple's own protections and to whatever parental controls you have configured on the device.
Your rights
Rights of access, correction, deletion and portability apply to personal data a controller holds. LLAPS DIJITAL TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI holds none, so there is nothing for us to produce, correct or erase. The data that exists lives in two places you already control: on your device, removable by deleting the app, and in your own iCloud account through Game Center, managed in the Settings app under your Apple Account. Neither is ours to reach.
Data handled by Apple
Game Center leaderboards, achievements and saved games are Apple services. Information you send through them is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy rather than by this one. If you would rather send nothing at all, sign out of Game Center in the Settings app; Llama Kart submits nothing when you are not signed in, and remains fully playable.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Because the page is generated from the repository that builds the game, a change to what the game does and a change to what this page says are the same commit.
